Chuan Yue De Cuisine – Consistently Delicious Family Favourites Chuan Yue De Cuisine has become one of our family’s favourite spots for comforting, flavourful Chinese dishes. Their suan cai fish is a standout, I especially like that they use toman fish, which has the best firm, bouncy texture for this dish. The eggplant with long beans and the claypot eggplant are also excellent; both are fragrant, well-seasoned, and cooked to the perfect softness. Another must-order for us is the pig’s stomach chicken pepper soup, along with the intestine with chilli (Sichuan style) — both versions are consistently good and packed with flavour. Their BBQ lamb and beef skewers are also surprisingly delicious, well-marinated, tender, and very enjoyable. Definitely worth ordering if you like grilled items. We also enjoy their wawa vegetables with garlic and mung bean vermicelli, a simple but very satisfying dish. Even their rice is special, cooked with bits of corn that add a nice sweetness and texture. So far, every dish we’ve tried has been delicious, and it has become a place we happily bring both family and friends to. Good food, consistent taste, and dishes that keep us coming back.

Came here tonight with friends to try out this Sichuan–Hunan restaurant, and we were really impressed! The staff recommended their Stone Pot Pickled Frog, and even though we don’t usually eat frog, we actually enjoyed it a lot — the meat was surprisingly tender and paired perfectly with the sour pickled vegetables. Next was the Grandma’s Preserved Pork with Smoked Bamboo Shoots — the bamboo shoots had a great texture, and the smoky flavor of the pork was so fragrant it made me go for extra rice! Their Spicy Chicken (La Zi Ji) was very authentic too — just the right level of heat, and most importantly, there was plenty of chicken instead of a bowl full of chili peppers! After so much meat, we decided to get a veggie dish — Broccoli with Shrimp Balls. The shrimp balls were fresh and sweet, and the sauce went perfectly with the broccoli. Oh, and the rice deserves a mention! It’s cooked in wooden buckets and steamed with corn kernels, which really enhances the texture and flavor. For dessert, we tried their Crispy Fried Banana — it turned out to be surprisingly delicious, especially when dipped in condensed milk. Perfect combo! The boss also told us that birthday guests this month get a free bowl of ice jelly, which is not only generous in portion but also super refreshing — perfect for cooling down on a hot day! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Sichuan–Hunan dishes with great service and good vibes!

For starters we had the century eggs. Pretty tasty with the chopped peppers. Ordered the pickled cabbage fish. The fish was fresh, and the gravy was more sour than spicy. Overall was OK. The home cooked pork was excellent. Overall was alright, and it wasn't crowded at all (due to Sunway Nexis being a dead mall).
