We celebrated my mother’s birthday at Jibril and had an excellent experience from start to finish. We made an early booking with advance payment, and upon arrival, all our food was already prepared and served promptly. Our group ordered a wide variety of dishes, including Nasi Lemak Butter Combo, Nasi Lemak Butter Chicken, several servings of Spicy Butter Chicken Chop Pasta and Butter Chicken Chop Pasta, Salted Egg Chicken Wing, Salted Egg Croissant, Salted Egg Butter Chicken, Sweet Potato Fries, Salted Egg Butter Squid, Nasi Tomato, Sambal Goreng Butter Chicken, as well as kids’ meals like Carbonara and Fish & Chips. We also enjoyed a great selection of drinks such as Macchiato, Salt Cola, Iced Biscoff Coconut Smoothies, Matcha Latte, Chaleo, Ice Chocolate, Honey Lemon Cold, and Mineral Water. Every dish was flavorful, and the drinks were equally enjoyable. The prices were reasonable, and the environment was cozy and comfortable, perfect for a family celebration. The staff were attentive, helpful, and made sure everything went smoothly. Overall, a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended!

06/02/26 initially rated at five stars due to the fact i was coerced at the cashier to do so. i came to the cashier to pay the bill. the cashier then said to use my phone to scan a qr code to give rating in which i said sure. i said ill do later. then he went on to tell me to quickly just open it and rate five stars cause it wont take long. no room to give an honest actual rating and review. now ill give a proper rating and review of the shop. i just find it impolite to forced someone like that. more improvement in dealing with customers please. judging for the high amount of five stars rating from all the review with no comments makes me assume that they are total bogus and misleading. the atmosphere feels clustered. the restaurant was packed with table and chair arrange close together. we had to stand up to give space if someone had to go to the toilet since our table was smacked down towards the wall. very inconvenient. the restaurant was cold enough and i reckon there is no need to blast the air-conditioner cause the food and drinks that arrived quickly turned from hot or warm to cold in an instance. couldn't really enjoy the food. food wasn't that extravagant. if you want quality food, this may not be the place. if you'd like to feed your hunger that's alright. the batter for the fish was thick and soggy with oil. the chips was nicely seasoned. the drinks was alright. not the best but it was good enough.

The place has a nice, cozy vibe… but honestly, it’s too compact. Tables are super close to each other, and it’s hard to enjoy your meal in peace when you can clearly hear every conversation around you, especially when a group of loud, entitled teenagers are practically shouting next to you. Then came the families with crying kids (and parents who didn’t seem to mind). So yeah, not exactly the relaxing lunch I hoped for. The background music was another mismatch = upbeat rock kapak songs playing in a supposedly cozy café? Not the best combo. On the bright side, the service was friendly and quite fast with drinks — they came first, which I appreciated. But the food took around 15–30 minutes. Portions were smaller than expected for the price. • Chicken Pan-Fried (RM22.90): Taste was just okay, fries were average, and the coleslaw was too sweet. • Vegetarian Pasta Aglio (RM17.90): Barely any parmesan, and when I asked for more, they brought me black pepper instead 🤦♂️. • Honey Chicken Wings (RM18.90): Probably the best dish I tried — flavourful and nicely done. • Chilli Con Carne (RM14.90): Came soggy and a bit sour. Toilet was clean but way too dark — felt like I was entering a movie set instead of a washroom. Overall, JIBRIL Bangi looks nice but doesn’t quite deliver the relaxing dining experience it promises. Food is average, portions are small, and the noise level makes it hard to enjoy.
