We arrived at this market-like local food court in the early morning, around 6:00am. I had been intrigued by the enticing stalls I had seen on tiktok, and there were indeed many options to choose from. We were here until 7:00am, but unfortunately, all the recommended places were still closed and not ready to serve customers. So, we had to settle for whatever food we could find, but unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The prices were reasonable (Actually it was a bit expensive from we would expect at a market. However, the portions were quite large). Among all the stalls we tried, I'd only recommend Bintang Coffee.

One thing that immediately comes to mind about this place is that it is super hot. A word of caution, try to find a seat nearer to the open area facing outside and avoid sitting in the inner sections of the food court. The ventilation is poor and it can get very uncomfortable. There are plenty of food choices here. We settled for Feng Yang wanton noodles and Ah Fook yong tau foo. Many of the stalls seem to be operated by foreign workers. The wanton noodles were alright, nothing particularly special, but came with a generous amount of crunchy fried lard. The noodles themselves were a bit oily. They only serve fried wantons, no wantons in soup, and there were only about five thin slices of char siew. There are several yong tau foo stalls, and we chose the one with more customers. The taste was decent. However, do note that they tend to drench the entire plate with a slightly sweet sauce. If you prefer it separately, make sure to inform them in advance. Overall, there is a wide variety of food and most of it is fairly decent. Just remember to bring tissues and be prepared for the heat, as the ventilation system really needs improvement.

This place offers great local foods and an amazing place for having breakfast. Clean, Organised, spacious and good ventilation, ample parking. My favourite is the curry noodles, flavourful, with perfect umami taste, but not spicy. Must try the Chinese chiken rice wine bun. Salted egg bun is also worth trying. The other food that you can't miss is the Ah Fook's Cheong Fun & Yong To Fu. The cheong fun with curry sauce is a match made in heaven. I also try kue-cang with Kaya, peach gum drink. For drinks, the iced milk coffee is the best choice.
