​This is likely the single most popular shop in the entire mall. Located in a prime spot right by the drop-off point and supermarket, its foot traffic is phenomenal. As both a fresh bakery and a café, they offer fantastic quality that justifies the slightly high prices. I especially love their freshly baked buns and cakes, which emulate baking best practices from various cultures (Japanese, Chinese, European, etc.). A family favorite is their egg tarts. We chill them overnight to enjoy the next day's perfect contrast of a crunchy tart and creamy egg pudding.

On Monday 5/1/2026, We went in JB Tebrau city Mall. After shopping we sat down at Lavender Cafe to have some pastry and coffee, at the same time I also order 3 slice of cakes for take away and paid. The cafe staff told me, she will pack my cakes for take away when I finish my coffee. But when I finish I forgot to inform her and went back to Singapore. I only notice when back in Singapore. So I whatsapp to Lavender's customer service whatsapp line, informing them about my incident, and inquiry how to solve this problem. Next day 6/1/2026 Tuesday morning, the customer service staff - Name : Khoo Cha Hwei reply my queries around 11am, and she agreed to give me the refund via Touch & go Apps E-wallet. A few hours later at 1.25pm I received the refund in my Touch & Go E-wallet. This is really fast. At the same time the cafe staff also whatsapp me informing me that I forgot to take my slice of cakes. Both the cafe staff and the customer service staff from Lavender, their service in following up with customers request are super efficient and good services. For this I give them a 5 stars. This is to show my appreciation for their great service, their efficient service. Though I always buy the bread from Lavender every time I go in JB, but this is the first time I have problem and they help me to solve the problem at a super fast speed. Once again thousand thanks to Khoo Chai Hwei and the cafe staff @ Lavender Tebrau City.

They're known for good bread. But I try their Xmas cakes instead. Good: the log cake is nice, the dining area is good. Bad: it's very noisy as it's a high footfall area and patrions are talking loudly, suitable for people who like noisy environment. the Xmas tree cake tastes seems like something that I'm not familiar with. Ugly: na RM28.25, log cake n Xmas tree cake
